Dad went to a car show last weekend and absolutely showed off. He took home Best Custom Truck with Camper and landed Top 25 with his other car.
Cycle 3 complete
Dad officially wrapped up Cycle 3 of treatment last week. As always, we’re taking the wins where we can get them, and crossing another cycle off the list definitely feels like one.

Well, Cycle 3 was supposed to start last week, but Dad’s sodium had other plans.
A needed breather
This week has been fairly uneventful, which is exactly the kind of update I like to share.
Patio nights
This past weekend ended up being one of those weekends we really needed. Between appointments, treatments, labs, and all of the unknowns lately, we wanted to do something that felt a little more normal and a little less clinical.

Today was supposed to be Dad’s second round of treatment in Waterloo, but things didn’t quite go as planned.

Today was another trip down to Iowa City — this time for Dad’s second round of chemo.
